Returns & Exchanges
Permission for any return merchandise must be secured from our return department. You have 30 days to request a refund, exchange or store credit. You must email your request to returns@cozybabies.com (with "RETURN" in the subject field), at which time the return authorization number (RA#) with return instructions will be sent to you. Please note if you would like store credit or an exchange with the new product number given. If you need to return an item you received as a gift you will receive store credit.
Products being returned must have a RA# issued before returned. No packages will be accepted without a RA# written clearly on the package.
Upon receipt of your approved return, if you paid by credit card; the same credit card will be credited your purchase amount(less shipping charges), store credit will be given, or the item you chose in exchange will be shipped to you. If your purchase qualified for free shipping, you will be refunded the cost of the item purchased less the cost of the original shipping. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost of returned items. Unlike many of our competitors, we do not charge any restocking fees!
Return Policy Exceptions: All custom products made by the following are not returnable; Doodlefish, BeBe Chic, Coyuchi & Wendy Anne. All custom made, custom orders, artwork and personalized products are not returnable.
For health reasons, any used or washed products will not be available for refund or replacement.
We strive to maintain our site with the most accurate product images and descriptions. However, some variations may occur due to discontinuation of fabric, trim or other circumstances beyond our control. Please order swatch samples, for the most up to date fabrics used, prior to ordering to ensure your complete satisfaction.
Once a return is authorized by our return department you should:
1. Return the item to the address given to you by our return department.
2. Write the Return Authorization Number clearly on the box or package.
3. Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of returned merchandise.
Returns should be shipped via insured U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) or UPS. We can not be held liable for return merchandise that does not reach our return department.
Defective Merchandise
If a product appears to have a manufacturer’s defect, email our Customer Service department for instructions and it will be replaced free of charge. Do not return products to us without first contacting us to receive instructions. If an item is to be returned to us due to manufacturer's defect, you must first receive a Return Authorization Number. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package.
If it has been 30 days or more and an item is defective, please contact the manufacturer directly for a replacement. We will gladly provide you the information if it is misplaced.
Refused Shipments & Unauthorized Returns
If a package is refused for delivery or unauthorized for return, the customer will be responsible for a 50% restocking fee plus actual shipping charges both for the original delivery and for it's return that are incurred by Cozy Babies.
If you return an item that has been used, your merchandise will be shipped back to you at your expense.
We can not refund shipping costs. You are responsible for all shipping charges on shipments that are refused or returned. If you received free shipping with your order and are requesting a refund for a returned item; you will be refunded the cost of the item less the original shipping charge.
